江戸時代に建てられた吉川英治記念館の長屋門をミュージアムショップに改修するプロジェクト。耐震性能の確保と、ショップに求められる開放性を両立するために、窓ガラスの一部を特殊なアクリル樹脂で木枠に固定し、制震効果を得る「ガラス制震壁」を採用した。

A project to renovate the Nagayamon gate of the Eiji Yoshikawa Memorial Museum, built in the Edo period, into a museum shop. In order to ensure earthquake resistance while also achieving the openness required of a shop, a "glass vibration-damping wall" was adopted, in which part of the window glass is fixed to the wooden frame with a special acrylic resin to achieve a vibration-damping effect.
