東、北、西の三方を神社の杜に囲まれた敷地に建つ戸建て住宅。樹々の緑を日々の暮らしに取り入れるためにリビング・ダイニングを2階に配置して、内外が連続する広いテラスを設けた。隣家に面する南側はあえて閉ざして越屋根の高窓から冬の光を取り入れられる断面構成とした。

This detached house is located on a site surrounded on the east, north, and west by the sacred grove of a shrine.
To incorporate the greenery of the trees into daily life, the living and dining areas are placed on the second floor, with a spacious terrace that seamlessly connects the interior and exterior.
The south side, which faces a neighboring house, is intentionally closed off, while winter sunlight is brought in through high windows set in a raised roof structure.
